Are we headed into a recession? The way the news media makes it out to be, the dollar is becoming more and more devalued, gas prices are going to continually escalate, inflation is rising faster than we can keep pace, the stock market is crashing, unemployment is up, and government spending is out the wazzoo with no signs of letting up, etc.... leading us into a major recession, looming in the not too distant future. :(
Some media make it out to be like the next Great Depression is on the horizon. :eek:
What is your take on all this? Is it just sensationalism by the media once more during a time of political change which is propelling fears of recession into a self-fulfilling prophecy? Or is the country fine, the economy fine, the job market stable, the stock market has its ups and downs but over time will continue to go up as it has since its inception, and the media is just hyping this whole recession thing up? :confused:
